The neverending painful story of a European G.I. Joe collector

On January, 21st I pre-ordered the entire collection of G.I. Joe Kre-O from Toys ‘R Us (they ship internationally now). Everything seems to be going well, and I soon receive some of the 3 3/4″ inch toys I also ordered at the same time. The release date of the Kre-O’s comes and goed, but since the shipping is internationally, I don’t panic just yet.

After a while, I get worried and I contact Toys ‘R Us. They send me along to their partner I-Parcel. The Service Desk of I-Parcel can give me the tracking number for the local package service they use (GLS). I contact GLS and they claim they have delivered the package to an address further down in my street, a driver’s error. I did not receive any news about that and they claim they can’t get the package back.

I continue to email between Toys ‘R Us, I-Parcel and GLS, but no solution so far.

I keep hoping they’ll be able to recover the package or send me a replacement, but my hopes are diminishing every passing hour.

If anybody can give me some insight or support on this matter, please contact me.

First box of Kre-O has arrived

First box of Kre-O has arrived

The first box of G.i.Joe Kre-O has arrived yesterday. I’d like to thank Toys ‘r US for finally shipping internationally – yes, there is a whole world out there outside of the US 🙂

I’ve already put the Dragonfly together (pics will follow as soon I’ve cleared some space in my display cabinet).
